As our students enter middle school, we progress through Acts 1:8 and move the mission experiences from “Jerusalem” toward "Judea and Samaria” .  Throughout the year students partner with a local nursing home and work to form relationships with the residents there. In the spring we generally sponsor a full day project in our community on a Friday and then plan a day trip to Washington D.C. on a Monday.  Students prepare and take a goody bag filled with a variety of treats and necessities on the D.C. trip with the intent to give it to a homeless person.  It is always a highlight to hear about their divine appointment as they handed their goody bag to "their" homeless person.
