8th Grade - World
In 8th grade, students study world geography, Biblical worldview and finish their final year of Spanish.  Their mission trip is a culminating event that summarizes their CCS experience with an intense week of ministry in another country using a foreign language.  This trip is designed to partner with God and help students understand God's love for the world.

Day 4
Rick Martin 04/22/10 10:26 PM CST

Today's devotion focused on availability and that our responsibility is to say yes to God's invitation to join Him in His work.  Lillian and Brianna did a nice job in setting the stage for an effective day of ministry.  We all jumped in and packed the gift bags for the children's day party.  We then initiated the great Mexican race where we divided the team up into 7 groups with a specific task they needed to accomplish.  The teams dispursed and 2 hours later, we had all of our tasks accomplished!  We then ate a great lunch consisting of Tinga and rice with beans and fresh fruit.  After lunch we handed out invitations to children's day.  We finished the day with a gathering in the park with two other youth groups.  We played soccer, basketball and had a small service.  Hope did a great job in sharing her testimony.

Once again, the students are doing great.  Andrew's stomach is healed and he was back to normal today.  John had a unicycle accident but he jumped back on and has conquered the skill of riding the one wheeled wonder.

No pictures tonight because I forgot to bring Connie's SD card home with me.  I will load pics tomorrow.
