In recent weeks, CCS has been monitoring the ongoing health crisis our country is facing. March 13 was the last day of on-site instruction for the current school year and marked a change in educational procedures across the commonwealth of Virginia. Since then, administrators and staff have been collaborating and providing at-home learning for the CCS families through packets, textbooks, google classroom, and a variety of other online tools. It is our goal to support and minister to families through this time and keep students on track academically through the remainder of the school year so they are prepared to advance next school year. While this time can bring a mixture of emotions, we know our God is Sovereign. We are trusting in Him and His plan for our school, community, country and world. May this be a time that we all draw close to our Lord trusting in his faithfulness and unending love. May this also be a time for families to grow closer to each other as they spend meaningful moments together. As a school, we are here for you, our CCS family. We love you, miss you, and are praying for you. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you.
For potential families, while the building is closed, we still welcome the opportunity to speak with you regarding your interest in CCS for your child(ren). Our development director, Stephanie Shafer, would love to talk with you. You can reach her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
