Employment Opportunities at Cornerstone Christian School

Development Director

The development director is a member of the executive team whose primary responsibility is to lead, manage, and evaluate activities related to admissions, marketing, and fundraising. This includes overseeing the student enrollment process from inquiry through enrollment, marketing the school, and coordinating the school’s fundraising and outreach to donors.

The development director must be knowledgeable in the principles of Christian school admissions, marketing, fundraising, and public relations. The position requires someone with strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and at times requires flexible hours enabling him or her to make numerous contacts with potential families and donors. He/she must maintain a godly testimony which will reflect well on the Christian ministry of the school.

Full Time Custodian

The custodian’s role is to care for the appearance, cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of the school on a daily basis, ensuring that the building, facilities, and grounds are welcoming and attractive.

The custodian should possess some basic skills in carpentry and an understanding of how to perform simple repairs for the facilities and custodial equipment, and be able to lift and manipulate heavy objects. The position requires someone who has an attention to detail, as well as strong time-management and organization skills, to ensure that cleaning and facility supplies are ordered and kept stocked.

Although this is a task-focused position, relationships are just as valued at CCS. The custodian must be Christ-like in character and attitude since they will be around and interacting with staff, families, and students during and after school hours.
