FINANCIAL AID AT CCS
CCS uses two criteria to determine a family’s eligibility for financial aid – the Tax Credit Program and Confidential Financial Sources.
Families who qualify for tax credit must still demonstrate a financial need by completing the form through BeneFAQ Services.
NEED BASED FINANCIAL AID:
In order to determine need, CCS uses BeneFAQ Services to collect financial information from families. Families need to complete the form at www.benefaq.com. There is a $40 fee to complete the form. The fee, is not refundable regardless of the outcome given. Families also need to submit documents such as tax return, pay stubs and potentially other financial data to verify the financial information provided.
BeneFAQ will then provide CCS with the results of the form. The result is the FACT – Family Anticipated Contribution Total. CCS uses the FACT to determine the amount of financial aid for a family.
The financial aid application will require you to provide documents and details related to:
- Household income of parents and legal guardians who have financial responsibility for the student Assets such as houses, vehicles, bank accounts, investment accounts
- Expenses, loans, debts, or other financial obligations
- Profit and loss statements for self- employment or privately held business interests
- Special considerations including medical expenses, elder care expenses, etc. can be considered
The financial aid committee at CCS will work with the FACT number to determine a family’s financial aid
award.
CCS does not meet full financial need and no student’s tuition is 100% covered.
