Make a Joyful Noise

At Cornerstone Christian School, students love to sing! As a Christian private school, we believe that all students should learn how to “make a joyful noise” and celebrate worshiping our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! As a result, all students are involved in Choir. Upper elementary, 3rd – 5th grades, are brought together to create a choir where they begin sight reading skills, reading and singing choral music and worshiping God through contemporary worship music. This choir also learns and performs a yearly Christmas musical!

Middle School

All middle school students participate in a weekly choir where they build on their sight reading skills, choral music and worship music as well. Students have opportunity to perform throughout the year at events such as Christmas Assembly and 8th Grade Graduation, in addition to other outreach opportunities.

At the middle school level, students may also participate in Advanced Choir. This is for students interested in pursuing a more in depth training in choral development and show choir pieces. This class also supports our musical theater program.
