Serve-A-Thon 2022: Walking in Love in our Community

This year, our Serve-A-Thon theme is Walking in Love in our Community. Ephesians 5:1-2 says, “Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” So that is what we’re going to do.

Our surrounding community has a lot of need, and there are many organizations that serve the community in those needs. The week of November 14th through the 18th, our students, from Pre-K to 10th grade, will serve our community by sponsoring and serving other “serving” organizations in and around the greater Harrisonburg area.  Basically, we’re going to serve those who serve – because even these organizations need support in their serving. And when we unite together to serve our community, we are walking Christ’s love. After all, we are His hands and feet.
